Click on Colors and Lines, Fill Color, Fill Effects, click on the Picture tab and choose a picture that has the colors you like. Choose a picture of plants, landscapes or anything colorful. (You will be surprised at the different looks you can create by experimenting with pictures.) 5. Turn on the WordArt Toolbar, View, Tools, WordArt. Click on the shape to turn it on, click on the "A" (next to the dog), on the WordArt Toolbar, click on "Inflate," column 1 row 4. 6. Click on Insert, Picture, AutoShapes, Basic Shapes, click on the Octagon, column 2, row 2. Click on Format, WordArt then the Size tab, change the Height to 2 inches, and the Width to 2.5 inches. Click on Colors and Lines, Line Style, click on the bottom line style, (border) OK. Click on the shape, click on Draw, on the Draw Toolbar, Order, Send to Back. 7. Move the WordArt on top of the shape. Click on the WordArt, hold down the Shift key, and click on the Shape, click on Draw, Align Center, then Align Middle, then Group. 8. Click on Insert, Picture, AutoShapes, Basic Shapes, click on the Rectangle, column 1, row 1. Change the size by clicking on Format, WordArt, click on the Size tab, change the Height to 2.25 inch, and the Width to 2.75 inches. Click on the rectangle, click on Draw, Order, Send to Back. 9. Move the first group on top of the rectangle. Click on either shape, hold down the Shift key and click on the other shape, click on Draw, Align Center, Align Middle then Group. Go back to #2 changing the name and create all of the picks. Space picks eight on a sheet. Print two of each on colored cardstock. Use scissors to cut out the rectangles. Next, cut only the bottoms on the outer edge of the border. Match the names and glue together with stick glue, adding a toothpick between the papers. When the picks are dry, cut on the outside octagon border. Insert the picks into small pumpkins for your Thanksgiving Table. Have Fun! Related Articles:
