This year for Christmas create personalized ornaments to hang on your tree. These ornaments also make a great gift for relatives and friends.
Format the AutoShape by:
- Double click on the AutoShape
- Click on the Layout tab
- Click on Infront of text
- Click on the Size tab
- Height =2.75 and Width = 2.0
- Click on the Colors and Lines tab
- Change the line color to something bright that you can see easily (this is your cutting line) click OK and close
While the Oval AutoShape is still turned on, click on the word Draw on Drawing toolbar, (usually the lower left of your screen), slide up to Order, click on Bring to Front
Adjust the oval over the photo to the desired location: Turn on both the photo and AutoShape by clicking on either one, hold down the CTRL key and click on the other. Click on the word Draw on Drawing toolbar, slide up and click on Group, turn off the grouped photo by clicking on a white area of your screen. You can move the combined pictures anywhere on your screen.
- Continue the same process until your page is filled up
- Save your work after each photo is completed and moved (this is very important)
Print the photo sheet: Print on the shinny side of the photo paper being sure to change the printer settings according to your printer specifications. File, Print, Properties, Photo Paper…
Allow the ink to dry: Let the sheet sit for several minutes before handling and cutting. Cut out the ovals on the bright colored lines, snap into the frames.
Other Embellishments:
- Adding a text box with the person's name
- Tie a small ribbon on the top of the ornament
- Add some glitter
