Home made cards are very personal and send the message that you care enough to create something beautiful and unusual for someone special.
Find a Christmas image for the spinner. The shape and size can be anything about two inches in diameter. Print two images on cardstock, the second copy should be a mirror image of the first. Lay image #1 face down, lay a piece of 5 ½ inch clear sewing thread through the center of the image, then glue image #2 on top of the first. Set aside to let glue dry.
Insert an AutoShape rectangle, 2 ½ by 2 ½ inches, move to Horizontal = 4.9 Column, and Vertical = 1.25 and Page. Change the line color to 25% gray. This box will be cut out later.
Insert another AutoShape rectangle, 2 ½ by 2 ½ inches, move to Horizontal = 4.9 Column, and Vertical = 6.75 and Page. Change the line color to 25% gray. This box will be cut out later.
Fill the page with randomly placed Christmas clip art or photos and your Merry Christmas or Happy Holliday greeting, then print. Cut the card into two pieces, creating two cards, then, cut out the two AutoShapes. Fold the cards in the center. Glue the threads from the spinner on the inside of the card, top and bottom. When the glue dries, sign the cards and wind up the spinner, the spinner should spin freely. Hold the spinner in place while placing card in envelope. When the card is opened, the spinner should spin several times.
