Making your own movies can be exciting when you know the basics. Movie Maker is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Combine video, audio, photos and your voice.
To open Movie Maker 2, click on START, All Programs, Accessories, Windows Movie Maker.
Movies can be vied with Windows Media Player.
After deciding what to include, creating a movie is as easy as 1, 2, and 3.
Capture Video - Video can come from many different sources, examples would be a digital movie camera or a camera attached to your computer.
You can also create videos from digital pictures on your hard drive, or files from the internet. The default locations for input are: C:\Documents and settings\User Name\My Documents\My Pictures. (My Pictures can be replaced by My Video or My Music.) The project file can be saved anywhere on your computer.
Edit Movie - Here is the place to add video effects, transitions, add titles or credits and make an AutoMovie.
Video Effects - This pertains to how a clip is displayed. Effects include blur, ease in, fade in and others.
Video Transitions - This pertains to how a picture changes from one to another. Examples include bars, bow tie, checkerboard and more.
Make Titles or Credits - This allows text to be added at the beginning and end, before or after clips, and on clips.
Make an Auto Movie - This automatically adds pre-designed transitions. Examples include flip and Slide, and Old Movie. Be sure to save your project (*.mswmm) several times while editing.
Finish Movie - This is the place where your project becomes a movie (*.mvw) There are several options to choose from, click on any option and follow the prompts.
