Excel can perform many more advanced tasks including: database, pivot tables, maps, what if scenarios, page protection, online collaboration, macros, conditional formatting, diagrams, create functions and more complicated math and statistical functions. Spreadsheets also have word processing features like page formatting, spelling and grammar checker. You can even write letters! There are also some customizable options.
