Quick Tip – Create Flashcards

Children sometimes learn better when it becomes fun. Create flashcards with Microsoft Word. Your child can decide which questions to use and the answers.


Help your children with their homework by creating flashcards with Microsoft Word business card template. Anything can be typed on a card, spelling words, history questions, even math problems. Open my article Crafts - Playing Cards. Follow the directions down to "Side 1."

It may be helpful to turn on the boarders before typing your questions. Click on FORMAT, Boarders and Shading, All, OK. Turn them off before printing cards by clicking on FORMAT, Boarders and Shading, None, OK

Side 1

Refer to side 1 cards as 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, 7 & 8, and 9 & 10. Type a question on each card, format as desired and print.

Side 2

Refer to side two as 2 & 1, 4 & 3, 6 & 5, 8 & 7, and 10 & 9. These rows will be opposite in order to print the answers on the back of the correct card. Check your printer's settings before printing the second side for loading instructions. Format and print when ready.
