Customize your contacts and increase your productivity. You can change the Microsoft Outlook contacts view to see the fields you need the most.

The Contacts view is a table which can be formatted by columns. You can add or delete columns according to your needs.

To change your Contacts View:

  • Click on Contacts, phone list, this is my preference but you can use any list, View, Arrange by, Current View, Customize Current View
  • Click on Fields
  • On the left side you will see Frequently-Used Fields and Available Fields
  • On the right side you will see Show these fields in this order
  • Start on the right side by deleting fields you do not need. Click on the field, then click on delete. (You are only deleting them from this view not your data base.)
  • Add other fields from the available fields, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the list to see other fields used less often.
  • Click on the field then click on Add
  • Click on OK when finished
