Adding a tiled background can add interest and catch your readers eye. You can use any picture as a watermark to create the tiles using Microsoft Word.

"Fill Effects" allows you to insert an image that is pasted in rows and columns to fill up the entire sheet. Using Microsoft Word, click on FORMAT, Background, Fill Effects Select Picture tab, click on Select Picture, now scroll to directory where your picture is stored and click on its filename to select it, then click on Insert, OK

These pictures come in at full color so you may want to create a watermarked picture with a drawing program.

If you change your mind about the background colors or the image you can remove it by clicking on FORMAT, Background, click on No Fill.
