» Feature Writer Robert Dailey - Working with Clipart

I seem to have trouble using the "text wrap" feature when using clip art. Is there a trick to it, or is it even possible?

Not All Clipart Is Created Equal

Clipart backgrounds can be different depending on who created it. Clipart backgrounds can be transparent, white or no backgrounds at all. This is important to know when laying out your artwork in any type of document.

If the graphic has a transparent background, the text wrapping will be different from those with a white or no background. For this reason, I usually use only the layouts for: In front of text or Behind text.

» fjpoblam - Is old ClipArt Gallery gone for Good?

I found old Clip Art Gallery *very* user-friendly (and it came with a huge collection). The new MS Clip Art Organizer comes with a puny GUI and a puny size collection, and it won't pick up the old collection of clipart I saved, with its handy keyword catalogs and all. It's now a major hassle to insert the old clipart into a Word document. Am I out of luck?
